The New York Jets have reportedly completed a long-awaited trade to acquire star quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers, according to sources. The trade details have been revealed, and it seems like the Jets gave up quite a lot to secure Rodgers.

In exchange for the quarterback, the Jets have reportedly sent their No. 15 pick in the upcoming draft, as well as a 2023 5th-round pick (No. 170) to the Packers. In addition to Rodgers, the Packers will receive the Jets' No. 13 pick in the draft, a 2023 2nd-round pick (No. 42), a 2023 6th-round pick (No. 207), and a conditional 2024 2nd-round pick.

According to Adam Schefter, the conditional 2024 2nd-round pick would turn into a 1st-rounder if Rodgers plays 65% of the snaps.

The trade is a major move for both teams, with the Jets finally getting a franchise quarterback to build around and the Packers acquiring multiple draft picks in exchange for a player who has been the face of their franchise for over a decade. It remains to be seen how Rodgers will fit in with the Jets and if he will be able to lead them to success in the upcoming season.
